Mimpi Reizen is a young and dynamic travel organisation that started in 2018 and is run by Ariëlle de Wit and Karolien Voncken. Thanks to years of travel and work experience in the travel industry, we are highly specialised in individual tailor-made trips to Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. We have lost our hearts to this beautiful destination and would love for you to experience for yourself how magnificent Indonesia is.
Indonesia is rightly also known as the Emerald Belt. This largest archipelago in the world counts more than 13,000 large and small islands. Each island has its own character and allure. The nature differs on every island: you will find imposing volcanoes, vast rainforests, breathtaking rice terraces and colourful corals. Besides the varied nature, Indonesia also has much to offer in terms of culture. Each island also shows great diversity in this respect: think of the colourful Hindu Balinese culture, the impressive buildings on Java such as the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, and the special Batak and Toraja culture.
The most well-known islands of Indonesia are Bali, Java and Sumatra. In addition, Sulawesi, Lombok, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Kalimantan and the Moluccas are gradually gaining more recognition. These islands are certainly not inferior to the best-known three. In short, Indonesia is absolutely worth a visit and therefore a dream destination par excellence!

Our way of working
Especially for you, we have gone in search of small-scale and special accommodations, fun and original excursions and unspoilt little paradises.
We also find it important to come into contact with the local people, as that makes a trip even more special! Head out with the friendly locals, go cycling together, stay overnight with them, cook the most delicious dishes together and explore the local villages. The residents of the region can show you the most special and beautiful spots and make sure you feel, smell and taste the country. An experience you will never forget for the rest of your life!
All trips are on a private basis, so that you can travel with your own party and arrange the route and accommodations entirely according to your own wishes. This way you can stop where and when you want to enjoy beautiful landscapes, take photos and, for example, walk through nature or a lovely village. We determine the route together with you in advance, but you can largely decide the daily schedule yourself on the spot. During the trip you therefore have a lot of freedom to enjoy it to the fullest!

Based on your wishes and the budget you have in mind, we would be happy to discuss the possibilities together with you. A quote request is possible by phone, email or through a personal appointment at your home or at an agreed location (this can also be in the evening or at the weekend). We will then get to work putting together a programme that fully matches your personal wishes. Naturally, we also provide expert advice. The quote can of course be further customised until your dream trip is entirely to your liking.
