For many people, Panama is an unfamiliar country. Of course, everyone knows the Panama Canal, but the country is more than just the canal. We began our Panama adventure with six months in Bocas del Toro, the beautiful Caribbean islands. From there, we moved to Pedasi, with its vast beaches and cultural heritage. From here, we were able to explore the whole of Panama for over a year.

Most tours of Panama start in Panama City, from where you drive via the most beautiful beaches, villages and nature reserves to the border with Costa Rica. You can cross the border or turn off towards the Caribbean Sea.
