I have been travelling to Indonesia since 1999 and have specialised as a tour operator on this beautiful archipelago since 2009. My travel company Merapi has put together a number of short holidays of around 2 weeks, ideal for an autumn, Christmas or spring holiday... or just any time in between.
The trips are example itineraries and we can tailor them to your wishes or budget.
Diving holidays
Merapi had already included diving holidays in its range for some time, but we are continually specialising further in this area.
Top locations are Raja Ampat, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and Komodo National Park. You will also find our diving trips with the NOB (the Dutch underwater sports federation) to Maratua and Raja Ampat.
Private villas
Have you always dreamed of a private villa on Bali? With your own swimming pool, a lovely garden, a beautiful view over rice fields, a river or the sea?
Merapi offers a large number of private villas all over Bali. Ranging from 1 to 12 or more bedrooms, always with their own swimming pool and often with lovely staff who, if desired, prepare delicious meals for you
Cruises by Bugis schooner
Merapi offers you the chance to board a traditional Bugis schooner from Bali, Lombok, Flores, Papua or the Moluccas and make various excursions while sailing.
Whether it is aboard the budget cruise Hunting Komodo, or a luxury schooner such as the Katharina, you will not be bored for a single moment!
