30-day motorhome group tour through 11 states & 4-day visit to New York
Are you an adventurous traveller and do you want to get acquainted with the highlights of America in a special way? Then this 30-day small-scale motorhome group tour is for you.
Chicago
The trip starts in the world city of Chicago where you stay 2 nights in a hotel. On the 2nd day, a walk through Chicago is on the programme. On the 3rd day you collect the brand-new motorhome from the factory and begin your motorhome adventure through America.
Route
You travel for 3.5 weeks through 11 states and of course visit the highlights along the route. Such as the beautiful nature parks: Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. You also visit the world cities of Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York.
TIP: visit the shop of Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the "American Pickers", from the TV series of the same name currently broadcast on RTL-Z, in LeClaire.
TIP: visit the Corn Palace in Mitchell, the only palace in the world that is built entirely from corn.
TIP: visit the Wall Drug Store, a special shop in western style where you can buy a cup of fresh coffee for 25 dollar cents!
Los Angeles
You hand in the new motorhome in Los Angeles and take a city tour where you visit, among others, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Santa Monica pier.
New York
The next day you fly on to New York where you stay 4 days in a hotel. In New York you can take part in various walks, seeing the highlights of New York, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park, Wall Street, Broadway and Times Square.
Execution
This trip takes place in a small group of at least 4 and at most 10 motorhomes and is organised and guided by my partner and me. You don't travel in convoy, but at your own pace using an extensive route book from A to B and visit the sights along the way that interest you.
In short: a unique way to explore the USA extensively in a group, yet individually!
