At Amedida Travel, the travel specialist for Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and southern Bolivia.
For years, I have lived and worked a large part of the time in Argentina. In order to also visit the neighbouring countries from there. Living and working among the locals, in search of unique, unspoilt and undiscovered places, special accommodations, the best contacts.
Travelling is my passion, and so it is for Jorge, an Argentinian and also a very experienced guide/4WD driver. Together we make sure you get to places that many have never heard of. And highlights are of course wonderful, but we prefer even more to share our 'secret' places with you.
Whether it's a lunch on the largest salt flats in the world, a wine tasting in an exclusive bodega, private trekkings, tango, cooking lessons, a helicopter flight, swimming in the highest-lying hot springs and much more... almost nothing is too much for us.
For instance, we arranged for our own Dutch consul in Argentina to join as guide and expert during a private agricultural visit. And we made sure that Dutch family members of an Argentinian groom had the trip of their lives, all in the context of the wedding awaiting them in Argentina. And with the photographer who really wanted to take the photo of his life at that one unknown spot, we also managed to make his deeply cherished wish come true.
