"Patiperra" means stray dog in Chilean... Do you want to call your travel organisation that? Absolutely! It stands for discovery, curiosity, openness and the freedom to experience a country, mainly from behind the wheel of your own hire car.
For 25 years now, I have been travelling, living and experiencing Latin America: from Mexico all the way to Patagonia in Chile and Argentina. I was fortunate enough to call Chilean Patagonia my home for 2 years, spent half a year in beautiful Yucatán, Mexico, and besides that I have spent many months travelling in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil.
A personal conversation to put together, together with you, the perfect tailor-made trip to your desired destination within Latin America. In practically all countries, you can drive perfectly independently in your own hire car; if you'd rather not, public transport or transfers/private transport are also perfect options. The destinations are well known to Patiperra, and I am very happy to share my enthusiasm and tips & tricks. On location, I work together with local partners: a trusted point of contact on site that is available 24/7, which in my view is extra valuable in these times.
Responsible tourism: as far as I'm concerned, travelling cuts both ways. We travel because we ourselves want to experience, see, hear, smell and taste cultures and countries. At the same time, this also always means an exchange of experiences with the local population, which you can seek out more or less yourself. It is precisely those experiences that make travelling so valuable and that you carry with you forever. There are various projects that we work together with.
So with Patiperra travels, you can go in many directions: the choice to turn left or right at the crossroads is up to the Patiperra's, in other words, up to you, the travellers!
