Angola, officially the Republic of Angola (Portuguese: República de Angola; Kikongo, Kimbundu, Umbundu: Repubilika ya Ngola), is a country in Southwest Africa. It is bordered in the south by Namibia, in the north by Congo-Kinshasa, Zambia in the east, and in the west it borders the Atlantic Ocean. The capital is Luanda, where around a third of the population lives. The Angolan exclave of Cabinda lies in the north between Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Brazzaville on the Atlantic Ocean. On 16 May 2014 a census was held. At that time Angola had 25.8 million inhabitants.
