Gran Canaria

So much more than just a "winter sun destination".

Gran Canaria

On Gran Canaria you'll find all kinds of beaches. 'Sun and sand' is the magnet that has attracted visitors from all over the world for generations. There are busy and well-known beaches, such as the long sandy beach of Maspalomas. An endlessly long strip of sand that begins at Playa del Inglés and stretches to the Maspalomas lighthouse, along a desert of dunes on the south coast of the island.

Beaches of Gran Canaria

But there are also many other beaches on the south coast. Here you'll find quiet family beaches, such as San Agustín, the beach of Amadores or the small beach of Puerto de Mogán. Or the beautiful landscaped beach of Anfi.

Besides all these beautiful beaches, Gran Canaria also offers many other activities. There is a lovely aquapark or, say, one of the many boat trips along the coast, or a jeep safari in the mountains.

Active on Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is certainly also suitable for the active holidaymaker. In the interior there are many marked walking routes, such as to Roque Nublo, for example.

Organised walking, cycling and mountain biking trips are also offered. There are also good addresses for renting bicycles. I'm happy to give you tips and know good addresses. Contact me for more information.

Golf destination

Gran Canaria has no fewer than 7 beautiful golf courses. The courses are spread across the island, with some even located next to a hotel. So a golf course is always nearby. I know where they are located and which hotels are situated close by. Some hotels also offer golf packages. So feel free to ask for more information.

Gran Canaria, but different

Most people know Gran Canaria as a holiday destination with many hotels, beaches and nightlife in the south of the island. But did you know that Gran Canaria also has many lovely, small-scale hotels located in the mountains or on a banana plantation. Or how about a short city trip to the capital, Las Palmas. Why not combine a holiday on Gran Canaria with a few days at a special hotel in the middle or north of the island, followed by some beach time in, for example, Playa del Inglés or Meloneras. You'll be amazed at everything Gran Canaria has to offer.

I had the pleasure of living and working on this beautiful island for several years. That's why I can also give you tips on lovely accommodation and activities from my own experience. So feel free to get in touch for more information.
