Lanzarote is a unique holiday destination where you can see a great deal, eat wonderfully and relax well.
Lanzarote belongs to the Canary Islands and although it is a very popular holiday destination, Lanzarote has still managed to preserve its own authenticity and is therefore certainly not comparable to the larger islands Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
Here you mainly find low-rise buildings and everything has been laid out in harmony with the atmosphere and nature of the island.
Special landscapes
Lanzarote is a volcanic island and you see that everywhere. The whole island consists of black lava with beautiful white villages and with the green palm trees and the special wine region of La Geria that produces beautiful pictures.
This destination is certainly worth a day trip with a hire car or excursion.
