Young Travel Company was founded by Janet de Jonge, who has worked as a buyer and product manager for various larger tour operators. As a child I was already interested in other countries, how people far away lived, what they did, how they lived. Books and films about countries outside Europe were wonderful. After secondary school this interest was still there, and that's why I chose to study Cultural Anthropology. Already during her studies I started travelling, and afterwards too I travelled a lot, both alone and together with her partner, for work as well as privately. During these trips we meet many people who are travelling together with their children, and we ourselves also travel a lot with our children. It's fantastic to experience the world around us together and to make memories together.
