Ivory Coast, officially the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, is a country in Africa that borders Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana and the Gulf of Guinea. The government of Ivory Coast has requested the international community to name the country with the French-language name Côte d'Ivoire.
