Estonia (Estonian: Eesti), officially the Republic of Estonia (Eesti Vabariik), is a country in Northeastern Europe, bordered in the west by the Baltic Sea, in the north by the Gulf of Finland, in the east by Russia and in the south by Latvia. It is the northernmost and smallest of the three Baltic states, and it differs from the other Baltic states, Latvia and Lithuania, among other things in its language, which is Finno-Ugric rather than Baltic.
