Gabon, officially the Gabonese Republic (French: République gabonaise), is a country in Africa that borders Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon and the Republic of the Congo. The capital and largest city is Libreville. The limited population density, abundant natural resources and considerable foreign support have made Gabon one of the more prosperous countries in Africa.
