Gibraltar is a British overseas territory at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. The highlight is literally the Rock: up by cable car or on foot, past the Barbary macaques, the limestone St. Michael's Cave and the tunnels from the Great Siege. On a clear day you look across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco. From La Línea in Spain you can simply walk across.
