About this destination
Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands, just off the French coast of Normandy, and governs itself as a Crown Dependency. Its tidal range is among the largest in the world: at low tide a whole landscape of rocks and sand flats is exposed. You can visit Mont Orgueil Castle, the Jersey War Tunnels from the German occupation and the long beaches of St Ouen's Bay. Ferries run from France and England, and flights from the United Kingdom.
