Mozambique (Portuguese: Moçambique), officially the Republic of Mozambique, is a country in southeastern Africa. It borders Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Swaziland and the Mozambique Channel (Indian Ocean), with the island of Madagascar on the other side. The coast of Mozambique is 2655 km long. The Zambezi river flows through the country from the neighbouring country of Zambia to the ocean.
