About this destination

Guadeloupe is a French overseas department in the Caribbean Sea, north of Dominica and south-east of Montserrat. It consists of an archipelago of islands that are counted among the Lesser Antilles, on the north side of the Windward Islands. Guadeloupe often refers to the main island, which actually consists of two islands separated by a narrow strait: Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre. A quarter of Guadeloupe is a protected nature reserve called Guadeloupe National Park. The airport is Pôle Caraïbes near Pointe-à-Pitre (IATA code: PTP) on the island of Grande-Terre.
