About this destination
Saint-Pierre and Miquelon is a French overseas territory in the Atlantic Ocean, off the south coast of Newfoundland. It is what remains of old New France: you pay in euros, eat baguettes and hear French everywhere. Saint-Pierre is a fishing town with colourful wooden houses, Île aux Marins is an abandoned fishing village, and on Miquelon-Langlade you find dunes, lagoons, wild horses and seals. You get there by ferry from Newfoundland or on a flight from Canada.
