Cambodia, officially the Kingdom of Cambodia, is a country in Southeast Asia. In the north it has a 541-kilometre-long border with Laos. In the northwest and west it has a 745-kilometre-long border with Thailand and in the east and southeast it has a 1228-kilometre-long border with Vietnam. Along the coast it borders the Gulf of Thailand. The Kingdom of Cambodia is a constitutional monarchy with King Norodom Sihamoni as head of state. The Cambodian government is led by Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. His period in government has lasted since 1985, making him the longest-serving leader in Southeast Asia. Cambodia's old name is "Kambuja" (Sanskrit: कंबुज).
