About this destination
The Cocos (Keeling) Islands are an Australian territory made up of two coral atolls in the Indian Ocean. Only two islands are inhabited: West Island and Home Island, home to the Cocos Malay community. The large lagoon is ideal for snorkelling, kayaking and kitesurfing, and the beaches are practically empty. You fly there from Perth, often with a stop on Christmas Island.
