The Palestinian territories, located in the Middle East in the Levant, is since the Six-Day War of 1967 the term used for the part of the Mandate territory of Palestine that is not considered part of Israel. They consist of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of Palestine. The Gaza Strip borders Israel and Egypt and has a coast on the Mediterranean Sea.
